How to Start Making Money with Google Adsense

Google Adsense is an advertising program that help bloggers to make money out from their blog by simply pasting code on to their blog. Previously, it's use to be easy to register for an Adsense account but not anymore. Pre-approval from Google is required and the trick is simple, just need to have quality contents available on your blog.

So, how to start making money with Google Adsense? The first thing you need to do is to create a blog (How to create a free blog) and a very good one. You can always refer to my previous post about the importance of having a quality blog contents. If you have created a blog, you can register for an account and start to set up ad code on to your blog. It may sounds technical but actually it is not. This is a step by step tutorial on how to start making money with Google Adsense.

First, you need to register an account and to register, please go to Google Ads.You will now be directed to an advertising page as per below. Next, what you need to do is to click on the Get Started button.

Once approved, you can start to create Ad unit and paste it on to your blog. To create new ad unit, go to My Ads and click on the +New ad unit button. Follow the red arrow for your easy reference.

Next, you need to fill in the form below to create an ad code. From top, you need to name your ad unit 'example'. This is mandatory. Then, you need to select for ad size. Next to select for ad type and finally to click on save and get code button.

This is an example ad code for your reference. What you need to do is to copy and paste the ad code on to your blog. If you are currently using Blogspot as your blogging platform, you can paste the code using widget that available under layout option.

Blogspot has made it easy for bloggers to collaborate with Adsense code. On your Blogspot dashboard, simply go to Layout>Add Gadget>HTML/Javascript. You will be prompted with the below. Just paste the ad code and click save.

Ad unit will be displayed on your blog pages and you will starts to generate income. Money is generated based on pay per click basis. The more traffics hit to your blog, the better opportunity for you generate income with Google Adsense.
